The ASI program combines sports experts and higher education specialists. Program outcomes meets the rigors of modern day professional soccer careers and its associated career opportunities. The program provides the learning outcomes, skills and knowledge for individuals that intend to pursue a professional sporting career. The ASI program is suitable for aspiring soccer professionals, associated career opportunities & career starters.

ASI Training

The ASI Training follows and adopts The National Football Curriculum.
With support and guidance from FFV all ASI coaching, conditioning and skills training follows the Australian Football Curriculum.
All ASI Training follows a strict and structured approach to ensure a continuos improvement approach occurs for all individuals.

Your program will be broken down in to four key areas. Each area will be designed to maximise your ability. Highly qualified ASI staff will use the most up to date technology and coaching methods to create a professional environment for you to excel. Not only will you be trained in all the following areas, you will also be involved in the delivery and review process to give to the skills and experience in readiness for your professional career in soccer.

ASI Education

The ASI Program offers a 2 year higher education qualification, an Associate Degree in Finance to applicants. The subjects deliver the learning outcome to succeed as an executive soccer professional.

The ASI Program commences in March 2015 and is offered on either a full time basis over 24 months (two 13 week semesters each year for 2 years) or alternatively part-time over 36 months (6 semesters).

Our course requires completion of Year 12 or equivalent or prior work experience. People that hold VET Diploma level qualifications and/or sport industry experience will be highly regarded in the application process, however this is not mandatory. Students undertaking this course will need basic computer and English proficiency to a Year 12 level, or equivalent.

Graduates of the ASI Program receive a higher education qualification that is Nationally accredited and national recognised and provides a pathway to a Bachelors degree.

The ASI Program, higher education provider, IBIBS, is approved to provide FEE HELP funding for students in this course. This funding allows you to study now and pay later. If additional funding is required please contact ASI and there are private funding arrangement available for qualifying applicants. ASI has a range of scholarship opportunities available.

ASI SERVICES

ASI is Independent

The ASI Program aims to deliver learning outcomes necessary for an aspiring soccer professional.

ASI is an independent training and education program that delivers professional soccer outcomes. ASI strength is derived from its independence and transparency. ASI is not itself a soccer club. It prides itself on being independent from every soccer club and invites applications from all. No ASI coach, trainer or faculty member has a conflict of interest with any soccer organisation. ASI is not a soccer club, players agent, recruitment, scout, or any other conflicted relationship.

ASI – Athlete Brochure

ASI creates promotional brochures containing complete information about you, that includes: athlete photos, academic statistics and athletic statistics, professional achievements, personal references, a personal essay or message drafted by you about you.

ASI – Internet Exposure

ASI’s personal profile and other information will be maintained on the ASI secure website. Every soccer coach, admissions officer and sponsor globally has free access to the ASI files at all times..
Recruiting profiles may contain personal information and academic stats, athletic fitness and strength evaluations and other statistics, newspaper articles, awards, competition or game reports, family background, photos, video, and a personal message by you. You can update your profile at any time through the ASI portal.

ASI – Video Evaluations

ASI shall shoot, capture and edit video footage. ASI shall produce a top-quality master evaluation video demonstrating your abilities and skills. This shall also include a personal message, interviews with coaches, skills demonstrations, camps, combine or showcase drills, strength and conditioning workouts, game footage, and graphics and background music to enhance the video.

ASI – Skills Coaching

ASI provides access to leading skills and conditioning coaches and trainers dedicated to maximising your potential. Training facilities are available with leading soccer clubs and training facilities.

ASI – Video Promotion

Your video shall be hosted on our dedicated server and shall act as a depositary of your career.

ASI Video Distribution

ASI is not a soccer club, a player agent or recruitment organisation. ASI shall produce and store personal profiles of its students that can be accessed by any Australia or overseas approved parties. Any interest generated remains between the student and its club and ISI shall remain independent. If requested ASI shall forward to the athlete along with an updated copy of their personal brochure for their own use.

ASI – Players Questionnaire Service

ASI has compiled a detailed list of questions to help in the attitudes and character of each player. The results of these shall be provided to prospective coaches and recruitment agencies. In addition these shall be used as a tool to highlight areas of improvement and focus additional training on these areas.

ASI – International Soccer Camps

ASI’s vast international network of those in the soccer provide access to some of the leading soccer camps throughout the world. ASI shall also assist students to select the most appropriate overseas venue to enhance their career further. ASI shall also provide the camp director a letter of recommendation and enclose a copy of the prospect’s evaluation video. This helps ensure the prospect gets special attention at the camp.

ASI – Social Media Promotions

ASI is designed to provide you with the tools to achieve success on and off the field. We provides you all the support tools required to achieve your goals. ASI will post extraordinary awards, accomplishments and newspaper feature stories via social media outlets. ASI News Blog, which will include a link to the prospect’s personal website and videos, as well as Facebook Google + Internet WordPress Twitter

ASI International Scholarship Search

ASI shall assist you in your search for global scholarship opportunities. ASI shall assist you in searching that could also lead to other non playing career opportunities. Offers of financial assistance may also be available.

ASI Monthly Newsletters

ASI monthly newsletters provide an insight to soccer in Australia. ASI email our monthly newsletters and general training tips and research. This includes helpful tips on how to maximize the NSR program as a whole.

ASI Mentors

ASI shall appoint a career mentor to assist you through your course and training. They shall provide support and mentorship to ensure you maximize the opportunity this future of football program provides.

When is the next intake and how long will the course take?

The course begins in March 2015 and is offered in 4 semesters full time over a 24-month period or six semesters part-time over a 36-month period.

Who is this course designed for and what are the career outcomes?

This higher education course is designed for aspiring soccer professionals and its associated career opportunities. ASI education provider, IBIBS, expects that upon completion of this course you will be in a position to advance your professional soccer career and its associated career opportunities.

What is the delivery mode and how much time will I need to devote to the course?

Flexible study options are available with the course. Students attend in person by Skype. Each lecture is recorded and available online within 24 hours for viewing at your convenience. This allows you are able to fit it in with your own unique schedule. IBIBS recommends that you will need to devote at least 20 hours per week to study, though this may vary for some students.

What are the entry requirements?

You must be at least 18 years of age and have completed year 12 or equivalent alternatively satisfy work experience requirements.

What is HEP FEE-HELP and how does it work?

HEP FEE-HELP is an Australian Government loan scheme. It is designed for students pursuing higher education qualifications. HEP FEE-HELP enables eligible students to undertake their education now, and pay for it later once they are in paid work. You can view the FAQ’s or read the Fact Sheet.

Who is IBIBS?

ASI Program, education partner, IBIBS is an Australian government approved higher education provider registered with TEQSA (PRV12188). All of our courses are accredited by TEQSA and we are an approved HEP FEE-HELP provider.

How much will the Associate Degree in Finance cost?

Study Now, Pay Later.
Tuition Fees for the entire course are $48,000 ($24,000 p.a.). Fees can be paid in total, via instalments or via Government accredited HEP FEE-HELP assistance that allows you to study now and pay later.

What are the computer requirements? (Incubator)

All ASI students have free 24 hour access to our incubator lab. This has computers; internet access, free color printing, meeting rooms and hot desks are available anytime.
